About Us

The site was initially a Union Cinema opened in 1937 converting to a Ritz Cinema in 1943. 1971 saw the transformation into a Discotheque and traded as Beaches, The Coliseum and The Zone until totally closing and making way for Liquid in 1999

In May 2006 Liquid nightclub closed for refurbishment and Liquid & Envy was re-launched on August 10th 2006.
Liquid & Envy has a capacity of over 1800 spread over 3 rooms  Liquid, Envy and The Liquid Lounge. Normal trading days are Monday's Get Lost Student Night, Thursday is our Urban Vibe session,with Fridays and Saturdays delivering the best live entertainment in Bedfordshire.

With 3 rooms of up to the minute technology including the very latest in laser and lighting shows, back to back with out of this world video graphics and sumptuous surroundings, Liquid & Envy nightclub really is the ultimate clubbing experience.
